It's so important to be able to get the right Ceremony when you lose a loved one as I understand this to be all part of the grieving process.
And by all means both necessary and noble, grant yourself the permission to ask the beautiful, unasked questions that have earned the right to be seen, heard, and celebrated ceremoniously! This has given her a wide range of skills and invaluable life experience and she is keen to pass on her vast knowledge of funerals and the process of creating meaningful farewells.
Her last 10 years were in Special Education — teaching secondary age pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties, and mentoring newly-qualified support assistants and teachers.
